Important instructions
Standard devices (Article No. 120195 & 120096)
- These devices do not have a radio connection and must be set manually on the device.
- Schedule heating intervals up to 24 hours in advance.
- Example: Up to 9 heating intervals can be set, e.g. from 0:01 - 6:00 a.m. to 18°C, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to 23°C, etc.
Bluetooth devices (item no. 120196 & 120072)
- Correct installation and calibration on the valve required to enable Bluetooth.
- Important installation steps: Allow the "Essentials Smart Home" app all necessary access, including Bluetooth.
- Bluetooth turns off automatically to save battery life. Reactivate it on the device if necessary.
- Bluetooth is mainly used for the convenient transmission of heating intervals.
- Please note that smartphones usually only support two Bluetooth connections at the same time.
- Essentials Smart Home Duo control center enables remote control of Zigbee and Bluetooth devices.
Zigbee devices (item no. 120144, 120112 & 120197)
- Requires an Essentials Smart Home Duo hub for operation.
- Can be controlled worldwide with the Duo control unit.
- Can be combined with Bluetooth devices for extended control.
Wi-Fi-based devices (Article no. 20261, 120370, 120253 & 120399 )
- Compatible with 2.4 GHz networks. Turn off the 5 GHz network during setup.
- The device and smartphone must be connected to the same router.
- Make sure your internet connection is IPV4 compatible. Contact your provider for IPV4 activation if necessary.
